Spring Break 2006 in LA

Livin' it up in Westwood.

Everybody loves Sue.

Mmm.

We're cool because we like to wear sunglasses indoors. At night. Yeah.

Henri and Sue doing their thang at karaoke.

Hustler boas.

Failed jumping picture. But cute nonetheless.

Ham pimpin' it.

Ike's a hustler. Kind of like Cassidy.

Isn't this, like, sexual harrassment?

"Enjoy it now because after college, it's called alcoholism."

I miss the southern California sunshine! I want spring break backkk.

Edit: This is the image that pops into my mind when I say "Na pi gwun hae"...Korean is such a funny  language. *Sigh* I want to be that pig on hay right now.

---

It seems like everyone, including me, is having a lousy week, so I decided to post some pictures of funny memories from the last two years (in somewhat chronological order) that still make me smile and remind myself that there's still a bright side to life...

The guys at my 18th birthday party the summer of senior year. This picture never fails to crack me up.

The time we went to see Jin tha MC at Axis and he turned out to be like 5 ft. tall.

One of my first visits to MIT my freshman year. MIT kid + glue-sniffing peer pressure + F.O.I.L. t-shirt...I think this picture kind of explains itself.

The time we went to 5th Avenue's F.A.O. Schwartz....

...and stole one of their balloons. Don't ask me why they put these in a toy store, because I'm not quite sure myself.

First year formal, when I helped organize it and went door-to-door to every single first-year in my dorm and begged them to come...and most of them did!

Utopia 2005, when it was pouring down rain, and we managed to make the boat juuust in time, thanks to Erica's crajee driving skills.

The time we went skiing for Tiff's birthday...

...and three ppl got stuck on the mountain!

The time we hired a stripper for Tiff's birthday and he turned out to be...quite not as we had expected.

Eel's expression is priceless.

Minnie admiring a butt belonging to a person who shall remain unnamed. Aaand...I just posted a picture of a butt on my Xanga. But she sure seems to like it!

Eel is so yummy everybody wants a piece.

Emceeing 07 Class Council's 90's Trivia/Pub night...I didn't think everyone was going to come, but they did! And there were five bouquets of flowers outside my room when I got back. Except upon closer inspection, they were dead. But that's a story for another time...

There are so many more memories that can't be illustrated in pictures--silly moments in the dorms, watching Harry Potter movies with my little brother, inside jokes with good friends...I know I complain all the time about how stressed I am, but I really do have a wonderful life filled with friends, laughter, and love, and I should always remember that. Yes, even while I'm hunched over my computer pulling all-nighter #1283902103 wondering why I chose to major in philosophy when it makes me feel like such a dumbass.

Kevin Federline tripping out to his own craptastic single. Classic.

Edit: James Lipton's version of K-Fed's song on Conan O'Brien. I daresay this one might sell better.

It took a rereading of Ms. McDowell's graduation speech for it to finally hit me. Now I, sentimental fool that I am, sit in the middle of the science library with tears streaming down my face. What a remarkable woman. And what fools we were for not fully appreciating what we had had before it was too late.

Saying meaningless "I love you's" enough times eventually gives that statement more than a little bit of truth.

Those words are that powerful.
